HRIS Assistant (Schools' Choice) - Ipswich, Suffolk 37.50 hours per week 52 weeks a year Monday- Friday £20,000 per Annum The Role: A new opportunity to join our team as HRiS Assistant in our HR and payroll team based in Ipswich. You will be expected to provide a professional, friendly and efficient service to our customers. Duties will include answering the phone and inputting information to our HR and payroll systems. Main responsibilities for the HRIS Assistant: Follow appropriate processes, systems and procedures when dealing with customer enquiries. Provide accurate and effective advice and guidance to customers on the interpretation of agreements / directives / policies and procedures and seeking clarification where unsure in order to provide accurate customer advice. Develop good working relationships within the team, wider Schools Choice team and with our Customers at all levels. Develop appropriate levels of knowledge relevant to service area in order to ensure resolution at first point of contact. Generate HR documents and reports, maintain accurate data, process a range of monthly payroll tasks Participate in training sessions/bite size sessions, apply the learning within the workplace and provide training to team and customers as required. Contribute to business planning activities within the team as required. Use initiative to solve problems, whilst following policy guidelines. Helping other team members in resolving customer queries, when required. Take initiative to keep up to date with learning and knowledge of systems, policies, processes to continually improve the quality of our overall service. Monitor customer feedback and ensure that appropriate action is taken where necessary and any feedback is escalated or distributed. Contribute to design and improvement of systems and services to improve efficiency and service.
