A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm working 3 days from home and 2 days in the office after training is complete. Paying between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience. Your key duties in this Management Accountant role will include but are not limited to: To own and control all aspects of the management accounts preparation Forecasting and budgeting Dealing with multi-currency accounts Reconciliation of Operating and Financial Systems Complete month end for stock, GDNI and GRNI Post accruals, prepayments and fixed asset depreciation Prepare VAT Return via Access Workspace VAT & Duty Deferment Schedule reconciliation Ensure balance sheet reconciliations for IFL Companies are ready for review Revaluation of foreign currency bank accounts, trade debtors and creditors Production of monthly accounts packs including debtors / creditors analysis Posting of Payroll journals Bank reconciliations Assist with audit preparation Year-end stock takes Manage Company projects Ensure that good working relationships with internal and external customers are developed and maintained Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department. Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role: Accountancy qualification/finalist (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) GRNI, GDNI and ERP knowledge.
