EYFS Talent are currently working with an Outstanding Ofsted rated Nursery based in South London. This modern and creative nursery are seeking experienced, qualified Nursery Room Leader. You will work with children to achieve their best start in life. The nurseries aim is to guide children step by step to reach their full potential. You will also ensure to provide high-quality education and care for all children, in a secure and exciting environment. This great nursery is set a new building, equipped with latest and functional toys and equipment, which helps stimulate and create sparks in the minds of the children. There are also great commuting options via local buses and with the closest station being Catford Station Thameslink, Catford Bridge Station Southeastern Rail. This position is fulltime, 40 hours a week, 5 days a week, permanent, Monday-Friday, and hours are between 8am - 6pm. Salaries range from £22,720 - £25,720pa, depending on experience. There is a lot of room for progression for the right candidate. To be considered for the positions you will need the following. Positive attitude, passion, and enthusiasm Experience within the childcare sector and willingness to learn Level 3 qualification in Childcare Clear Enhanced DBS Ability to work on your own initiative and work as part of the already amazing team Job summary To use online applications to complete risk assessments, accident and incident reports and child initial packs. To be acutely aware of the EYFS and all development areas and what early intervention entails. To provide early interventions for children who need additional support in order to achieve their best outcomes. To effectively deliver the EYFS whilst working in partnership with parents and carers and external agencies to better understand the unique child and their individual needs. To gain an understanding of the unique child through completing an initial pack with the family thus developing an understanding of the unique child and if there are any Special Educational Needs and or Disabilities, the family culture, religion, ethnicity, medical history and the child s special interests and comforts.
