Role Project Manager Contract TBC Grade £500 per day Connect2Luton are excited to recruit for a Project Manager on behalf of Luton Borough Council within their Population Wellbeing department! As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the 'Luton Population Health Management ' Project, which is part of the BLMK PHM programme. To be successful in this role you must be able to provide leadership and co-ordination across these different elements of the project. They will ensure that risk is appropriately identified and managed. One of the most important roles of the post holder is the engagement with the service stakeholders in the development and defining of the project and translating those requirements into appropriately scoped work streams. About the Role Manage and supervise a range of staff assigned to the project work streams from across the organisation, external experts and partner organisations. Contribute to the effective management of the project budget Able to work from a range of locations. About you In depth experience of successfully managing complex and multiple projects. Proven experience in risk, change and stakeholder engagement and Experience of working in on transformational and strategic change projects. Ability to develop clear project plans, business cases and project documentation, analyse complex information and data including the ability to identify patterns, trends and inconsistencies in data and produce meaningful statistics. Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of people. Good communication skills including the ability to consult, challenge, influence and negotiate effectively with a wide range of people. Ability to prepare and present reports and undertake formal presentations. Able to organise your own workload and work on your own initiative. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in order to mentor and develop others and meet conflicting work demands, targets and dSadlines. Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project). Ability to understand equality issues in detail and to anticipate their impact on services, Integrate equality issues into service delivery and to assist with implementation. Prince 2 Project Management Qualification or equivalent Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project Ability to travel within the Borough and attend meetings outside of normal business About Us Luton Borough Council have partnered with Kent County Council to create Connect2Luton, a recruitment managed service for all contingent temporary agency, contract and interim roles at the Council.
