R&D Engineering Manager:

The Engineering R&D Manager plans, leads and executes Engineering projects. This role manages and monitors projects from inception to completion, assuring satisfactory completion and coordinates with all functional departments and with upper level management.

Manage multiple new product platforms, derivative products, sustaining activities while providing leadership, work direction for local teams
Interacting with sales and product management to complete customer enquiries or proposals in a timely manner
Track and analyse critical program parameters to improve product development processes and quality
Sets and monitors objectives for direct reports or cross functional activities to enable objectives to be met
Regularly report project status to all stakeholders; develop metrics and goals to monitor performance and effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Hons Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
8 years minimum experience in an electronics development environment
Min 5 years previous experience in leading/managing engineering projects and engineering teams
Proven leadership experience.
Proven experience in developing and executing to project budgets
Location: Cork, Ireland.
The role will also include domestic and international travel of up to 20
