The Opportunity

Accountable/responsible for ensuring all service calls in shop and field are addressed in a timely and effective manner; supervise available technicians and resources to maximize productivity and proficiency to meet targets

The Role

  • Responsible for day-to-day support of the business of Parts & Service sales to customers
  • Executes initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and maximizes efficiencies including service, warranty programs and parts operations at the branch
  • Supervise and leads service technicians to ensure repair profit margin performance and customer service are met
  • Responsible to coordinate and perform field services
  • Provide coaching and training for all service technicians
  • Work with customers, suppliers and co-workers to fulfill service orders and inquiries within service and cost expectations

The Candidate

  • Education: College diploma/Post secondary education. Skilled trade certification considered on asset
  • Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in Heavy Equipment, Power Generation or mobile equipment service industry considered an asset. Qualified technician or Journeyman is an asset.
  • Knowledge: Experience working on component repairs, trouble shooting, field services and generating quote labour hours
  • Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
